1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing, browsing, or using RaktaBandhu, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, along with our Privacy Policy, Disclaimer, and Medical and Health Disclaimer.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must immediately cease using the Platform.

1A. Mandatory User Consents

By using RaktaBandhu, you explicitly consent and declare that:

• Registration Declaration: If registering as a donor, you declare under penalty of law that you are 18+ years old and medically fit to donate blood
• Medical Verification: Before contacting any donor or requesting blood, you acknowledge that RaktaBandhu does NOT test blood and you WILL verify all medical reports at a certified hospital before transfusion
• No Payment: You understand that buying or selling blood is illegal in India and you will report anyone requesting payment
• Identity Verification: You confirm your identity through mobile OTP verification before accessing donor contact information

Failure to comply with these consents may result in immediate account termination and legal action.

2. Definitions

• Platform: RaktaBandhu website (raktabandhu.com) and mobile applications
• User: Any individual who registers or uses the Platform
• Donor: A User who offers to donate blood
• Recipient: A User seeking blood donation

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use this Platform and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract under applicable Indian law.

4. Nature of Services

RaktaBandhu is an intermediary platform that connects blood donors with recipients. We facilitate communication but DO NOT provide medical advice, operate as a blood bank, or guarantee availability or quality of blood.

5. User Obligations

You shall NOT provide false information, impersonate others, use the Platform for commercial purposes, harass other Users, or engage in illegal activities.

6. Intellectual Property Rights

All content, features, functionality, trademarks, logos, and intellectual property on RaktaBandhu are owned by us and protected under Indian intellectual property laws.

7. Privacy and Data Protection

Your use of the Platform is governed by our Privacy Policy, which complies with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without any warranties.

9. Limitation of Liability

Our total liability for any claims arising from your use of the Platform shall not exceed INR 10,000 (Rupees Ten Thousand Only).

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Bangalore, Karnataka, India.
