2.1 Information Purposes Only

All information provided on RaktaBandhu, including articles, FAQs, guidelines, and educational content, is for general informational purposes only and does NOT constitute medical advice, professional healthcare guidance, diagnosis or treatment recommendations.

We are NOT responsible or liable for:

• Actions, omissions, or conduct of Users (donors or recipients)
• Medical complications arising from blood donation or transfusion
• Compatibility, safety, or quality of blood donations
• Verification of User identities, credentials, or medical information
• Disputes between donors and recipients

4. No Guarantee or Warranty

We do NOT guarantee:

• Availability of donors for specific blood groups
• Response times from donors
• Accuracy of User-provided information
• Uninterrupted, error-free, or secure Platform operation
• Absence of viruses, malware, or harmful components

5. User Responsibility

5.1 Donor Verification

Recipients are SOLELY responsible for:

• Verifying the identity and medical suitability of donors
• Ensuring blood donation occurs at licensed blood banks or authorized medical facilities
• Requesting proper medical screening, blood testing, and cross-matching
• Confirming compatibility before transfusion

5.2 Medical Screening

Donors are SOLELY responsible for:

• Ensuring they meet blood donation eligibility criteria per NBTC guidelines
• Undergoing pre-donation medical screening
• Disclosing accurate medical history and health conditions
• Verifying fitness to donate with healthcare professionals

6. Third-Party Content and Links

RaktaBandhu may contain links to third-party websites, blood banks, hospitals, or healthcare facilities. We are NOT responsible for content, practices, or services of third parties and do NOT endorse or guarantee third-party websites.

7. Medical and Health Risks

7.1 Blood Donation Risks

Blood donation may involve risks including dizziness, fainting, bruising, or infection. Donors should consult healthcare providers before donating and follow pre- and post-donation guidelines.

7.2 Transfusion Risks

Blood transfusion carries risks including allergic reactions, infections, and hemolytic reactions. Recipients must ensure blood is sourced from licensed, NBTC-compliant blood banks.

7.3 Emergency Situations

RaktaBandhu is NOT a substitute for emergency medical services. In life-threatening situations, call emergency services (108/102) immediately.

8. No Guarantee of Compliance

While we encourage compliance with applicable laws and medical standards, we do NOT guarantee that all Users comply with NBTC guidelines or verify that donors meet eligibility criteria.

9. Data and Privacy

We rely on Users to provide accurate information. We are NOT responsible for inaccuracies in User profiles, misrepresentation by Users, or privacy breaches caused by Users sharing their own information.

10. Technical Limitations

We may experience scheduled maintenance downtime, technical failures, server outages, or force majeure events. We are NOT liable for losses arising from service interruptions.

11. Geographic Limitations

RaktaBandhu operates primarily in India. We do NOT guarantee availability of services outside India and are NOT responsible for compliance with laws of other jurisdictions.

12. No Professional Relationship

Use of RaktaBandhu does NOT create an employment relationship, partnership, joint venture, agency relationship, or fiduciary duty.

13. Modification of Disclaimer

We reserve the right to modify this Disclaimer at any time. Changes are effective upon posting. Your continued use constitutes acceptance of modifications.

14. Governing Law
