User Consent Agreement

1. Purpose

2.2 Processing of Personal Data

We will process your personal data for:

• Donor-Recipient Matching: To connect you with compatible donors or recipients
• Communication: To send notifications, alerts, and updates
• Account Management: To create and maintain your profile
• Service Improvement: To analyze usage and enhance features
• Compliance: To meet legal and regulatory requirements

2.3 Sharing of Personal Data

Your consent includes sharing your information with:

• Other Users: Donors and recipients for matching and communication
• Blood Banks: Licensed facilities for donation coordination (with your permission)
• Service Providers: Cloud hosting, SMS/email services (under data processing agreements)
• Legal Authorities: When required by law

3. Consent for Sensitive Personal Data

You specifically consent to processing of sensitive personal data including:

• Blood group
• Health information related to donation eligibility
• Medical history relevant to blood donation
• Location data for proximity-based matching

4. Consent for Communication

You consent to receive:

• Transactional Communications: Account notifications, security alerts, policy updates
• Promotional Communications: Blood donation campaigns, awareness programs (you may opt-out)
• Emergency Alerts: Critical blood shortage notifications in your area

Opt-Out: You may opt-out of promotional communications through account settings or by clicking "Unsubscribe" in emails.

5. Consent is Voluntary

You are providing this consent voluntarily and without coercion. You understand that:

• Consent is not a condition of accessing basic Platform features
• You may withdraw consent at any time (subject to legal and contractual limitations)
• Withdrawal may affect your ability to use certain features

6. Right to Withdraw Consent

You may withdraw your consent at any time by:

• Updating preferences in account settings

• Deleting your account

Effect of Withdrawal:

• We will stop processing your data for purposes requiring consent

• Active Account: As long as your account remains active
• Inactive Account: Up to 3 years, after which data will be anonymized or deleted
• Donation Records: Up to 5 years for medical and legal compliance

• Data storage on secure cloud servers (within India)
• Limited international transfers for technical support (with safeguards)

12. Informed Consent

You acknowledge that:

• You have read and understood the Privacy Policy
• You are aware of how your data will be used
• You have been informed of your rights under the DPDP Act
• You have had the opportunity to ask questions

13. Consent is Documented

This consent is recorded and documented through:

• Timestamp of acceptance
• IP address and device information
• Consent version number
• Audit logs

14. Renewal of Consent

We may request renewal of consent when:

• We introduce new data processing activities
• Privacy Policy undergoes material changes
• Legally required

You will be notified and asked to re-consent.

15. Verification of Consent
